Number 7, The Grove is an ideal place from which to explore Totnes and beyond. From the house it is a short walk to the high street, the castle and to the river.

The house was originally built in the 16th century as a farmhouse. Although now looking very different and part of a brick built terrace, it retains the feel of an old house. Of all the rooms, the least altered are the guest rooms which have kept their size and shape and still have the original low doorways (6ft).

At the back of the house there are steps up to a surprisingly large and varied garden; one of a maze of gardens between the Grove and the high street. It is often a peaceful place to sit and can seem a world away from the bustle of the town near by.
